I gladly ship to International bidders, but I do request that you PLEASE email me for shipping cost before you bid! Some of the USPS rates seem to be much higher than bidders expect. This horn is open, and the sound is absolutely great. But it latches just fine.The sound of the horn is loud and smooth, as far as me blowing into it. The case seems to be in good condition for its age (I believe it is the original, as it has the King label on it), although one of the hinges is broken. The mouthpiece looks perfect, and reads Vincent Bach 12 c. A small grease job would make the slide move even better, although it is quite usable as is. The slide moves freely, but is slower in some areas.
The lacquer is worn in a couple of places, and t are some minor dings on the throat of the bell section. The condition of the horn is good for its age.
According to the serial number (259***), this unique trombone was manufactured sometime between 1940 - 1945. This trombone is an older student model that was made by the King Company, now part of the Conn-Selmer group, makers of brands like Bach and Conn. Up for auction is this vintage King Cleveland 605 Trombone.
